San Francisco photographer Jaime Borschuk

Portrait by Kristin Cofer

I am a San Francisco based photographer specializing in people oriented photography, including environmental portraiture, team and executive headshots, workplace photography, and corporate events. I want subjects to feel comfortable and valued. I like to show underrepresented and unexpected stories.

Based in the Bay Area since 1999, I am originally from Iowa and still travel to the midwest regularly to visit family. A musician/music enthusiast, I recorded and performed in the projects The Matinees, Plan to Pink, and The Bright Grey Wing. I hosted the radio show B-Side Dreams on BFF.fm from 2016-2022, where I got the idea to document the BFF community. I am currently studying classical guitar. I have a past life as a designer and an interest in writing; I co-edited and designed the annual literary memoir zine We’ll Never Have Paris from 2016-2023.

I am a member of the Tether Collective photo studio in Potrero Hill.
