Case Study: Event Photography for Invest for Better

This summer I photographed Invest for Better’sWomen Investing in Women showcase at La Cocina in San Francisco. The night was a hit, blending networking and accessible learning about values aligned products, services, and investing opportunities for all budgets, led by women. It was a 3-hour event including informational booths, speaker moments, and a raffle.

A bonus for me was seeing multiple subjects from my Women in Finance portrait series as well as people and groups that I connected with via that project, including IFB's co-founder and WIF portrait subject Janine Firpo; Toffler Niemuth and Giselle Mendoza Rocha who led my IFB Bay Area investing circle; Women in Finance portrait project subjects Kristin Hull, PhD of Nia Impact Capital, Jasmine Rashid, Nicole Middleton Holloway, CFP®, and Maya Philipson of Adasina Social Capital; fellow LPs from West Coast Angel Network; Gwen Edwards of Golden Seeds who was also in my IFB circle; and I was happy to finally meet WCEO ETF leader Patricia Lizarraga in person.

The Takeaway

Three hours of event coverage can result in a wide variety of imagery you can use for your marketing efforts as well as future event planning.
